Introduction

For those whom are not think-for-yourselfer’s, my name is Patrick Ray. PatrickRay.Net is a conglomerate of three normal words which got together one day and decided to slap fives and team up to form the ménage à trois of greatness which is viewable here.

I was born here in Birmingham, Alabama in 1980 and other than a couple of feeble attempts at departure, once to Chalfont, Pennsylvania for a year and a half in 1986 and once to Auburn, Alabama for 5 years of college, I’m still here. Birmingham is home, and with the exceptions of Guatelahoover and Tyrone Jackson down the street, I love it.

Career

I’m a 26 year old Insurance Fraud Investigator. I’ve worked for various nationwide companies in the industry, some of which are probably Fortune 500 companies but who’s keeping count? What I do is interesting and challenging at times, but it’s not stimulating. I’m currently pursuing a career move into financial planning.

Hobbies/Interests

I don’t particularly enjoy long walks on the beach but I do love guns, financial planning, politics, college football, kool-aid, hiking, lifting weights and observing those that believe they are observabless.

Books

Yes, I do read. I don’t read froufrou frilly fiction though. Most of what I read focuses on financial planning, politics, constitutional law (or lack thereof) and true crime.

Religion

I’m a Christian, but not one of those hail and brimstone soccer moms that wants to tell you that you’re going to hell and give you the 25 point outline on why. These people tend to be confused on why they believe what they believe in the first place. Watch out kids, I’m theological like that.
